Lohan Snubbed By Obama!,

Has saMAN Ronson been trying to convince girlfriend Lindsay Lohan that she’s a good actress and a respected role-model????

Could saMan also be the one influencing LezLo to get into politics?

LaLohan has made it clear that she is a Barack Obama supporter.

So much so that reports are she even offered to host a series of events for him in order to appeal to the younger voters.

However, having Lindsay Lohan on your campaign just doesn’t sound like a smart idea.

A top source in the Obama team reveals that Lindsay “is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us.”

Well, duh.

But apparently the campaign gave her a polite “thanks, but no thanks,” response to her offer.

Poor Linds.

Hit With Stroke #2,

According to a new report, Snoop Dogg’s cousin, fellow rapper Nate Dogg, suffered a stroke at the beginning of the month, his second in a year.

His manager said, “He is back in the hospital. He did suffer from a second stroke. He is in stable condition. The prognosis at this time is favorable. We’re positive, prayerful, hopeful and patient.”

Family insiders revealed that Nate Dogg did not suffer any brain damage, he has little movement below the neck and requires the aid of an assisted-breathing tube.

Sad.

It’s also been reported that his condition will probably force a Compton judge to postpone a Sept. 24 hearing in which Nate faces felony charges for threatening and stalking his estranged wife.

Yikes.

He’s Not Welcome!,

With all the Spears women now mothers, the drama is only just beginning!

After finally burying the hatchet with her former momager Lynne - who even now is releasning a tell-all book rumored to contain some scandalous BritBrit history - Britney Spears has a new bone to pick.

Jamie Lynn’s fiancé, Casey Aldridge, was absent from the Spears’ recent family gathering.

Britney gathered the Spears women, including her new niece Maddie, in LA to celebrate her sons Sean and Jayden’s birthdays, and as In Touch Weekly exclusively reveals, Casey’s invitiation didn’t just get lost in the mail.

As we all know, Casey couldn’t keep it in his pants while Jamie Lynn struggled with her pregnancy.

But, according to a friend, Britney’s well-known longterm disapproval of Casey stems from her suspicion that the 19-year-old is just using her 17-year-old sister for money.

You can only say “Oops!..I did it again!” so many times.

Maybe Casey and K-Fed could work on a Popozao remix together????

It seems that Jamie Lynn may not have even minded Casey’s absence. The friend goes on to say, “It was a good time for her (Lynne) to get away from him (Casey) and spend time with her family around her.”

The Spears women just can’t seem to find a good man! Mother Lynne is divorced and Britney is twice divorced with a string of failed and sometimes bizarre relationships (hello Adnan!).

Ad who knows if Jamie Lynn’s engagement will even last!

The Governator Says NO!,

California’s governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, may make state history.

On Tuesday, he told the state’s lawmakers that he’ll veto the spending budget they planned to send his way.

This would be the first budget veto ever by a governor in modern day California.

The budget proposal is 78 days late!

Arnold said that he if the budget did not include three provisions to ensure the state a reliable rainy-day fund for times of fiscal trouble it will be ousted, reports the LA Times.

The governator also reportedly said that if lawmakers decided to override him (which they were openly planning) he would kill most of the legislation they passed this year.

Diva!!!

“Hundreds of bills will be vetoed,” Arnold threatened.

This year, California has developed a $15.2-billion budget gap.

Who and what isn’t financially challenged these days?????

What’s New Pussycat?,

He’s back!

Welsh crooner Tom Jones is set to release new, original material in the U.S. this fall.

It’s been 15 years since his last American release!

According to reports, Jonesey’s new album is going to have a retro feel, kinda like Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black.

Tom told the press, “The fire is still in me. Not to be an oldie, but a goodie. I want to be a contender.”

Jones either co-wrote or collaborated with the songwriters for most of the album.

In fact, U2’s Bono and the Edge guest on the song Sugar Daddy.

Could be interesting!

Meth Kills!!!!,

Both Ryan O’Neal and his troubled son, Redmond, were arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning on drug charges.

Police authorities say it was doing a probation search involving Redmond O’Neal at the actor’s Malibu home when deputies found the two in possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies found Redmond in possession of metha and a vial of the drug was found in Ryan O’Neal’s bedroom, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Maybe it was his son’s?????

The detaining occurred at 7:15 a.m. this morning.

Redmond, whose mother is Farrah Fawcett, was arrested last year on charges related to carrying heroin and crystal meth while driving under the influence in Malibu.

He avoided any jail time by agreeing to a plea deal.

He was sentenced to three years probation and $1,688 in fines for the DUI charge.

In yet another case from 2005, Redmond was placed on probation stemming from an arrest on suspicion of methamphetamine and cocaine possession.

Ryan O’Neal was arrested last year on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after firing a gunshot during an argument with another son, Griffin O’Neal.

The actor said he fired a warning shot intended to scare his son.

Ryan is also the father of Tatum O’Neal, yet another crackhead.

Lindsay Should Take Some Lessons From ScarJo,

It’s nice to see celebs working for a great cause and using their celebrity for good.

Instead of blogging about doing good, this big-boobied blonde is actually doing it!

Scarlett Johansson just returned from her first trip to Rwanda with (RED), whose primary objective “is to engage the private sector in raising awareness and funds for the Global Fund, to help fight AIDS in Africa.”

The blonde humanitarian stayed four days and visited people and different projects benefiting from (RED) funds via the Global Fund into Rwanada.

ScarJo has been supporting the fight in Rwanda against AIDS and HIV for sometime now.

She said of her trip, “It was important for me to come here and understand the issue we’re up against firsthand. It’s not until you’ve had the privilege of meeting healthcare providers who are fighting the daily battle, heard from people who are now getting antiretroviral drugs to stay alive, and met mothers whose babies are born healthy because they received treatment that stopped transmission of HIV, that you understand that we absolutely can do something to reverse the AIDS crisis in African countries.”

And while in Rwanda, ScarJo visited the Treatment Research and AIDS Clinic in Kigali where she met with doctors and patients at the facility. She also met there with Dr. Anita Asiimwe (pictured above), the Director General of TRAC, during her visit.

ScarJo then visited the Rural Health Clinic in Kabuga which provides HIV counseling and testing, as well as antiretroviral therapy.

In just two years, they’ve helped bring in over $22 million into Rwanda so far.

Why the fuss?

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Rebecca Romijn has banned hubby Jerry O’Connell from attending buddy Howard Stern’s wedding because her ex, John Stamos, is set to attend.

We’re hearing the wedding is happening VERY SOON.

An insider reveled to the mag that, “She really doesn’t want them to be around each other.”

What’s she afraid of?

Rebecca’s rep insists, “There is no bad blood between anyone.”

So if there’s no bad blood what’s the big deal?

Update: A trusted source tells us Rebecca never banned Jerry from going.

“Someone close to Stamos reached out to Romijn’s camp and expressed reservations over her attendance,” a source tells us. “Rebecca decided not to go. Plus, she’s 6 months pregnant - with twins! She likely wouldn’t have traveled across the country for the wedding anyways.”

Update #2: Romijn’s rep tells us exclusively, “Her doctor actually has put her on partial bed rest starting October 1st. She and Jerry are very sad they can’t attend.”

Pimping Out Steve’s Children,

At the tender age of four, Steve Irwin’s son, Bob, might host his own wildlife show.

In a recently filmed pilot, Bob expertly handles reptiles and even wrestles a mini-crocodile!

Crikey!

Taking after his father and even his older sister, Bindi, whose own animal program is broadcast on the Kids Discovery Channel, Bob insists on being, as he puts it, “mister independence.”

The family watches Steve Irwin DVDs every morning at breakfast.

Isn’t that a little bit creepy????????

Terri, Steve’s widow, insists otherwise, saying that it’s “comforting and familiar” and even “special” for Bindi and Bob, of whom she says “is a little Steve clone.”

Better keep him clear of stingrays then!
