Avril Settles,

Avril Lavigne has been accused of stealing songs many times.

The Candian singer and “songwriter” just settled a plagiarism lawsuit brought against her by the band the Rubinoos, who claim Lavigne’s song Girlfriend sounded TOO MUCH like their song I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.

The terms of the out of court deal are confidential, but we’re pretty sure Avril had to pony up some cash.
