So Lifetime, which has been developing this contemporary reboot since 2004, has finally cast the leads for The Blue Lagoon.

Australian actors Brenton Thwaites and Indiana Evans are the third set of youngsters picked to be stranded on a dessert island together, fall in love and make whoopee. The newcomers, who starred together in Australian soap opera Home and Away, will follow in the footsteps of Brooke Shields, Christopher Atkins, Brian Krause and Milla Jovovich.

If history repeats itself, this role will be the beginning of Indiana’s rise to international stardom, while Brenton will probably just fade away like the other two male actors who have played Richard in the past.

It’s a small world after all.

Over the weekend, Demi Moore took her next step in recovering from her recent hospitalization by entering Cirque Lodge rehbad center in Utah for substance abuse and anorexia issues. However, she isn’t the only famous face gracing the treatment center right now. Turns out, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller is also currently receiving treatment for her addiction to crack cocaine.

Considering the fact that the ladies have different yet equally serious problems, their paths have yet to cross. In fact, according to a source, Demi “hasn’t had any interaction with other patients yet,” as she is still in detox. Furthermore, it’s likely that the women will never formally meet, as they are in different stages of treatment. Some how, we don’t think Demi is losing much sleep over that fact.

Better just hold out for the reunion, Brooke, for an introduction. In fact, maybe some of the other former patients will show up too, like Mary-Kate Olson, Eva Mendes and Lindsay Lohan.

Wait. Do rehabs have reunions? Ah, whatever.

The claws were out on the set Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 2 Reunion!

Camille Grammer was called out and smacked down during the season 1 reunion, so she has kept her pretty blonde head down for the majority of this season. Which meant that season the mean girls affluent ladies had to chose a different victim fellow reality star to attack.

Every up-to-date RHWOBH fan knows that this year’s lucky lady was Lisa Vanderpump.

She was accused of having a fake butt, fake boobies, being a bitchy and — worst of all — she was accused of selling gossip about the girls to the tabloids!

Lisa can handle being called bitchy sassy. she brushes it off by saying “They don’t get my humor.” Howeves, she will NOT stand for being called a blabber mouth!

The British wife of BH spoke out against allegations that she sells stories, saying:

“Look, I’ve had 26 restaurants and nightclubs. One, called Zoo Bar, was one of the most avant garde nightclubs in London. I’ve seen everything. I’ve seen people who are gay pretending to be straight. Straight pretending to be gay. Sleeping with each other’s wives. I say nothing. I see a lot, say little and write nothing. I’d be a billionaire if I could sell stories.”

Well that clears everything up ladies! Or does it?

It is with great pleasure (and equal parts confusion) that we announced that the beauty that is Jonathan Groff has landed a series regular role on the Starz series Boss. While the show is an award-winning program and critically-acclaimed, we can’t say we know too many people who watch it, so we’re wondering why The Groff would op to play one of Kelsey’s staffers (Grammer’s character is the mayor of Chicago) when it’s pilot season and he could easily nab a new show for himself.

But his people probably know best and at the end of the day, we’re just thrilled the hottie is getting work … work that won’t interfere with him coming back to Glee before it’s too late.

Cool your thumbs, people! Wow!

Madonna’s halftime show produced a staggering amount of tweets. How many, you ask?

Try 10,245 tweets PER SECOND. It was one of the busiest times Twitter has ever had, and averaged 8,000 TPS for five minutes!

Less than a third of them happened to be negative, too! 59% of them were positive, and 11% were neutral, begging the question as to who is counting all of this, and what are the definitions of “negative” “neutral” and “positive.”

The actual TPS came at the end of the game (12,233), however, which would be expected. It was up by 200% from last year’s Super Bowl!

So what did that halftime show actually beat? Well, everything:

‘The 2011 MTV Music Awards – one of the most social TV events ever – had a peak TPS of 8,868, according to a Twitter recap of top 2011 events. Steve Jobs’ resignation had a peak TPS of 7,064 while his death had a peak of 6,049. The BET Awards in June had a high TPS of 6,436.’

INcredible, Madonna!
