Antonio Banderas is going to be playing legendary painter, Pablo Picasso!!
The upcoming docudrama, is called 33 Dias, which, if you didn’t know, is 33 Days in English. You never know.
Anyway — the film will follow Picasso during the 33 days it took to paint Guernica, which is considered a masterpiece.
Here’s what Antonio had to say:
“[Picasso] is a character that has pursued me for a long time and I always rejected. He deserves a lot of respect because I am from Malaga, and I was born four blocks from where he was born.”
Wow! Just four blocks!
Sounds like it’s a role that he’s destined to play!!
