Fashion Won’t ‘Rock’ in ‘09,

Fancy magazine powerhouse Conde Nast (Vogue, Vanity Fair, etc.) is truly feeling the economic pinch.

The president of their media division just issued a statement that said the ‘toughness’ in the ad market is forcing them to put the fashion-meets-music event for charity, Fashion Rocks, on ice for 2009.

That’s too bad!

The 2008 Fashion Rocks event benefited Stand Up to Cancer and featured among many others, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey.

We’ve previously mentioned Vogue’s shitty ad revenues for the year.

Too bad its sister pubs are doing crap as well!

Well, we hope cutting the undoubtedly pricey Fashion Rocks event has saved some jobs!
