Jay-Z might have to start paying to party - just like the rest of us.

Oh, the travesty!

With the economy floundering, clubs in London can’t afford Jay-Z’s bloated appearance fee of $43,000. The hip-hop star is visiting across the pond to see the New Jersey Nets take on the Miami Heat at The O2 this weekend.

But, no one wants to pony up the cash, even when he’s lowered the fee to $13,000.

He might have to party on his own tab.
