She had said she was retiring from touring.
Oops, she changed her mind!
Tina Turner announced at a special Las Vegas taping of the Oprah Winfrey show with Cher this past weekend that she was going back on the road!
That’s cool, bbs. Tina is a legend and we don’t want her retired! She can do whatever she wants, change her mind as many times as she desires. She’s earned that luxury, honey.
Turner’s new tour starts October 1st in Kansas and tickets go on sale May 12th.
The 68 year old legend says that Sophia Loren told her to stop “lolling about her Swiss home and get back to work.”
This is definitely going to be one of the biggest tours of the year!
This special divas episode of Oprah – with Cher and Tina from Vegas (they sand Proud Mary together!) – airs on May 8th.
